OOPs!
We just haven't been able to coordinate getting blogs published, or even written yet. We will continue to try. One suggestion from the upper grades was to let kids just submit each day on a volunteer basis. So we will try that. For the time being I will be in charge of getting photos and video up.
(We have a couple of students who do not have parent permission to have their likeness used, so we need to be careful of the photos and video that we capture).
Be sure to visit our class webpage.

Yay For Early Release!
Today was early release Monday. We're entering week four of school. Our class spent most of the morning in the computer lab. We took a test for math and one for spelling and played math games.
We talked about classroom jobs and getting to a regular daily schedule. Our new class Blogger and Photographer jobs will begin this week also. \
Keep checking our blog to see what's happening.

Monday August 29, 2011
On Monday's we have early release so it will be difficult for the kids to write a blog. So I will take Monday's.
We have DIBELs testing tomorrow. Late last week we had a guest instructor, Mrs. Godschalx, who helped us learn ways to increase our reading fluency. I hope some of our students practiced over the weekend.
This week we are continuing to work on expectations and procedures. No homework until next week!

Day TWO
We went to Art today. We practice our math timings. Nine of us have passed our first addition timings! We did "Drops on A Penny" for science today. Our average number of drops was 41. The number of drops depends on lots of things, like how shaky the table is; how flat your paper towel is; or what size the dropper is.
First Day!
Today was the first day of school. We have 19 students in our class. Three students were absent today. We wrote our best cursive. We practiced an addition math timings. Hayden and Tayson passed the first time! We also made name tags for our homework folders.
Domenique's Grandma made us a bus cake. It was yummy!
